Ensure you meet the following legal requirements based on your location:


Data Protection Act (UK only)

Under the Act, every UK organisation (data controller) that processes personal information (personal data) must notify the Information Commissioner's Office, unless they are exempt. Failure to notify is a criminal offence. Click here to register

If you are taking money through your website, it is a legal requirement that you display contact details on the site itself.
These include:

  • Postal address
  • Telephone number
  • Business registration number
